San Diego’s regional EDC (Economic Development Council) presented, last January, a brief overview of the key economic indicators that are important to understanding San Diego’s economy and compared its position to other large metropolitan areas of the United States.

The analysis was developed from data from the July- October 2013 trimester and addressed issues surrounding employment and unemployment, housing and real estate, industrial and office real estate, as well as financing through venture capital.
