Mexico vs Cameroon: Mexico's must win match

With Brazil's result both teams will need the win.

NATAL - The Mexican National Team opens its World Cup participation on Friday against Cameroon. Both teams will be in huge need of the win considering Brazil's 3-1 win over Croatia.

The Mexico vs Cameroon match is scheduled for Friday June 13th at 1:00pm local time (9:00am pacific) from the Estadio das Dunas in the city of Natal. The game will be televised in the United States by ESPN 2 (English) and Univision (Spanish).

Both Mexico and Cameroon will need the win in this match due to the fact that Brazil have taken a three points in the opening match of the World Cup. Both team's World Cup hopes heavily depend on the result from this match considering both Croatia and Brazil will be stronger opponents.

During Thursday afternoon's press conference Mexican manager Miguel "Piojo" Herrera mentioned that Mexico came to Brazil to win the World Cup.

"Our objective is to win the World Cup" said "Piojo" Herrera "If you don't come to win the World Cup, then why come at all?"

Herrera also true to his style announced his starting lineup for the Cameroon match; a lineup that had been leaked by the media days before.

The biggest story line out of the lineup is that Guillermo Ochoa had officially been confirmed as the goalkeeper that won the intense battle for the starting spot over Jose Jesus Corona.
