The 10th annual, internationally famous, TJ Beer Fest is just around the corner, and promises to be bigger and better than ever. Baja California ever more is becoming a beer hub, thanks to the large amount of craft beer producers and fans. Baja is Mexico’s craft beer capital and this event will showcase that.
More than 40 breweries have confirmed, and there will be more than 200 varieties to choose from. This edition of the TJ Beer Fest will be one for the record books. BCB Tasting Room was amongst those at the press conference that announced the event, and announced that they will be launching a new beer at the event. Also present was Raul Aispuro of Cerveceria Funes, which will be offering small courses on home breweries.
In addition to the staggering amount of beer, there will be a large variety of food options in line with the culinary explosion happening in the city, which will include the classic restaurants and the new variety of food trucks, like The Lunch Box.
The 10th edition of TJ Beer Fest will take place on August 15 and 16 the courtyard of the CECUT (the big IMAX dome in Tijuana). Entrance will cost $100.00 pesos and will include a commemorative 4 oz. taster glass. In order to promote a family friendly environment, children will be allowed to enter the event with adult admission between noon and 8 pm.
