TIJUANA.- This week we got a chance to take part in the TJ Beerfest 2014 press conference, along with many of the most recognized craft breweries in the region, including Border Psycho Brewery, one of my favorites. It had been a while since I managed to sneak in a craft beer, so I indulged myself at Border Psycho. And, let me tell you, that one of the best things you could drink in this hot, humid weather is their “Cream Ale.”

Golden colored, the color of hay with an abundant white head. The flavor is smooth and rounded in texture, with citrusy aromas and a light flavor of toasted amaranth. This beer was definitely designed with this hot weather in mind, given that it is so refreshing without being overly sweet. It won’t oversaturate your palette. Highly recommended for any day of the week or as we head into the weekend.
