Baja Malibu Beach Reopens

Just in time for the Labor Day weekend

TIJUANA.- After a week long closure, the Baja Malibu beach has been reopened to beachgoers. This comes after health authorities shut the beach down after high enterococcal levels in the water were detected.

Last week health authorities held an urgent meeting on the matter to determine how to address the problem that came as a result of improperly treated sewage. Some readers have reached out to us, telling that they came down with the stomach flu after swimming in these waters.

The beach has been reopened and the popular surfer point is once again safe to swim in. Just in time for the long Labor Day weekend.
