TIJUANA.- Located in Plaza Fiesta, between Pee Wee Wings and Ribs and mLa Prisión is the new bar that stands out on first sight because if its decoration of green tubes and yellow boxes with "?" symbols, a screen in the background with scenes of videogames, and some etches in the wall that remind us of the videogame "The Legend of Zelda."

The place is a bit dark, lit by a couple of yellow lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling, and a little small 8 Bit Craft Beer & Café, with outdoor seating and a large bar with colorful tetris-shaped boxes and a coach next to a television set.
We got closer to see the variety of craft beer that the place offers and I must say that the selectioin is really good. Beers from all over Baja California and foreign ones as wll at a competitive price of 50 pesos varying from bottle to bottle. Still, I ensure you that they are much cheaper than many other places with the same variety.
Pedro, the bartender, spoke openly about his love of video games and challenged anyone to try and beat him at a game of Killer Instinct.
"If you win at Killer Instinct, I will give you 10% off your purhcase" he said as he uncapped our beers "Lagrimas Negras" by Ramuri and a Vanilla Porter by Benton Brewery.
The ambiance is nice and takes advantage of its small space well. It didn't get cramped with people and that is something we all look for in a bar. Comfort, good beer, and an excellent attitute behind the bar. Have you been to 8-Bit?
