Fake Miley Cyrus Interviews Circulate False Racist Comments

This time, the disrespect against Mexico is made up

MEXICO.- A little over a week ago, singer Miley Cyrus made headlines and caused outrage over social media when during a performance in Mexico she literally had her prosthetic fake butt wiped and slapped with the Mexican flag. Now, false rumors of racists comments by Cyrus have also circulated the web and caused outrage amongst Mexicans.

"...what I did was a demonstration of what I felt toward Mexicans; they are lazy, mediocre, and they take away our jobs..I would do it again and, regarding the fine, please... I could pay that many times over..." says the fake comment. Outrage quickly spread and the fake commentary has been shared widely throughout social media.

The reality is that this interview never took place and the news is totally fake, just like the recent news that members of the group Calle 13 had died, or that Mexico's Congress had voted in favor of eliminating the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

The image accompanied by the fake interview makes it clear that it is completely made up. Just at first glance you can see the image has been manipulated in addition to horrible spelling mistakes and other errors that would not pass muster in legitimate news outlets.

As ridiculous as it sounds, the flag butt wiping incident did actually occur and Mexican authorities have sanctioned event organizers with a fine of sixteen thousand pesos, which is less than fifteen hundred dollars.
