Times are changing and not just because there is more variety and quality of craft beer in Baja California, but literally because times are changing and it is now Autumn. Autumn: the time where beer needs to have more body, more sweetness, and spices like chocolate and coffee are welcomed additions. Everyt ime I've tried any beer by Fauna, I have been pleasantly surprised and this is especially true now that they their beers at one of my favorite bars. So, this is why the Beer of the Week is the Penélope Coffee Porter.

Penélope by Cerveceria Fauna has a strong smell of toasted coffee and a well-rounded body that is still easy to sip. It has hints of chocolate that complement the beer well, with all the goodness of a porter. It can be easily paired with food like bread or a sandwich making it a great option to drink along with a meal or by itself.
