Beer of the Week: Blonde Ale by Puerco Salvaje

A good beer to bid farewell to the hot weather

I still remember the past TJ Beerfest 2014, where I tried for the first time beer made by Puerco Salvaje, which translates to Wild Boar. In my book, at least, it was one of the best breweries on site. Some time has passed since then, but I recently got to try them out once again during a recent visit to Puerco y Pintas, and there is no hesitation when I say that I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

The Blonde Ale by Puerco Salvaje has some very subtle fruity flavors and a light hoppy aroma. Smooth, simple, and refreshing with just a hint of honey. This beer is perfect to pair with any type of meal because of its body and light flavor.

I had only been able to try this beer in festivals and recently at Puerco y Pintas. For more information on where to find this beer, visit their Facebook page.
