Haven you been to "WokTrok" in Tijuana yet?

With only one week in business it's already one the public favorites

Trying to keep up with all the new culinary option in Baja California is not an easy task, however, when a picture with a name constantly appears among your contacts for a whole week, its impossible not to get curious; this of course is "WokTrok"in the "Cacho" neighborhood of Tijuana (officially named Juárez) , one of this end of year best surprises for foodies.

So on Thursday during lunch, we decided to go and visit the newly opened "WokTrok", and already just 10 minutes after the truck parked at its usual spot after 2:00 p.m., there was already a line of people waiting to be served and taste their quickly famous noodles. Once we saw the menu, we were more than surprised, as a variety of dishes welcome you that can accommodate a lot of tastes, at very affordable prices, and with very generous portions of delicious cuisine. Ordering a box of noodles, we also tried their portobello and pork belly steam buns, highly recommended.

I didn't spend more than 100 pesos (7dlls), but I had a great meal. I do, however, regret not tasting their kimchi octopus burrito, so I have an excuse to go back. The only negative comment I would have is regarding the wait time, given that there was a bit of chaos in the orders, but taking into consideration the've only been open a week it wasn't so bad. The "WokTrok" is making it big and looks like things are getting better for them. It genuinely turn into one of my favorites places to eat.

"WokTrok" is located between Blvd Agua Caliente and Calle Brasil on calle Gral. Ferreira, just behind the Mandarin Plaza Restaurant parking lot. (Click here for directions)
