Muhammad Ali in hospital due to Pneumonia

The 72 year boxer remains stable

UNITED STATES.- The world renown boxer Muhammad Ali was admitted into the hospital on Saturday, due to a mild case of Pneumonia, according to sources close to the legend. The former heavy weight 72-year-old champion has been reported stable, given that he was treated in due time by doctors. The illness was detected in time, and he is expected to make a full recovery and released from hospital very soon.

This Pneumonia adds to the Parkinson Syndrome that Ali suffers from. The last time he made a public appearance was last September, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, to receive an award. He currently lives in Arizona.

Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr) is world-famous for his boxing career in the 60s and 80s. He remained undefeated throughout his first 29 matches, until to Joe Frazier in 1971 by unanimous decision. Four years later, he won the rematch.
