ROSARITO.- If you like sports and adventures, the next Baja Hiking Experience is just the thing for you. Aside from exercising, you will get to know new spaces that will challenge your endurance and your spirit for exploring.

On the last day of the month, January 31st, the excursion intends to make you walk 10 miles from Puerto Nuevo all the way up to the top of El Coronel hill, with a program scheduled to start at 9 am and end at 3 pm.

Hiking is a type of mountain climbing or sports activity designed not to compete but to get in touch with the environment and get to know different mountains, dales and hills among many forested scenarios free from human intervention.

Packages start at $30 dlls per person, with the most basic one including a tour guide, lunch, fruit, beverages throughout the tour and transportaion in case of fatigue. However, there are also two options that guarantee comfort for those coming from San Diego:

Package 2: Double room, $62.50 dlls per person

Includes: Tour guide, lunch, fruit, beverages throughout the tour, transportation, king sized bed in "Puerto Nuevo Baja Hotel" or a double room and breakfast.

Package 3: Quad Room Tour $57.50 dlls per person

Includes: Tour guide, lunch, fruit, beverages throughout the tour, transportation, Villa with Ocean View and breakfast.

Tickets are sold only in Rosarito, with the possibility of purchasing them in Tijuana under appointment with by Baja Hiking Experience. You can find then in the store "Todo Terreno", the former Ford agency in Rosarito.
