ROSARITO.-"Asadero Pepe's Rosarito" is a classic treat for all Rosarito foodies and an open secret for the rest of Baja, a place that has been active for some time now but still refuses to appear on social media.

Nonetheless, the work that they don't do to promote themselves, we'll do it for them. Surprised by their originality, we decided to share and recommend that you at least visit them so you can try the recipe many are calling "the real Mexican Pizza".

Surely when you think of Mexican Pizza you think of cheese with beans, chorizo and jalapeños. Well, this pizza is not even remotely similar to the one many franchises offer, because it is actually a giant carne asada mulita, with guacamole, hot sauce, cilantro and onions, divided in individual portions that are fit to eat just like you would with a regular pizza. If there really is a Mexican Pizza, many will agree that this version takes homes the title.

Of course, this isn't the only food option at "Asadero Pepe's Rosarito", as you can also ask for traditional carne asada and adobada tacos, and even hamburgers, meat nachos or hot dogs, given that Don Pepe also has his own hamburger shop to satisfy any craving all in the same place.
