Chris Pratt has become a leading man ever since he starred in "Guardians Of The Galaxy" last year. He is soon to be seen in "Jurassic World", and it looks like Disney has him under the radar to give life to one of film's most famous legends.
Disney bought the rights of Indiana Jones from Paramount in 2013 and it seems that now they are focusing in bringing attention back to the famous archeologist and his whip, which was once played by Harrison Ford in "Raiders Of The Lost Arc".
According to Deadline, the studio has its eyes set on Chris Pratt, which could work given that in "Guardians Of The Galaxy" a sort of tribute to "Raiders Of The Lost Arc" was made when Star Lord takes the "orb" from its resting place at the beginning of the film.
For the time being, there hasn't been any comments on behalf of Disney and this information has spread quite quickly, so it could be a rumor.
Meanwhile, some fans have already accepted the idea of Pratt playing Indiana Jones and have made montages such as throne below.
