Baja's Plans For The 2015 Mexican Airshow Fair

Governor Vega meets with the event's organizing committee

MEXICALI.- During their participation in Mexico's 2015 airshow, known as the Mexican Aerospace Fair, Baja California will have the chance to restate their leadership within the aerospace industry, as well as ratifying the advantages in the state that are of most interest to investors, as it was stated by State Governor Francisco "Kiko"

Vega de Lamadrid, during a meeting with Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, General Brigadier and President of the event's Organizing Committee and Abul Sai Cansino Martínez, Captain and Logistics Manager, pointed out that the state meets every requirement that the industry is looking for, and that is why they have constantly spread out this ideal scenario, so that national and foreign visitors take it into consideration.

This year's Mexican Aerospace fair will take place from April 22nd to the 25th on Mexico's City No. 1 Military Air Base, this is a national level project where authorities, the educational sector and public in general, will get to know the industry's capacity and potential, which seek to establish in Mexico a sustainable international event, with prestige and leadership for the global aerospace community, in order to promote the industry, the country's civil and military aviation system, its technology and defense products, explained the event organizers to the Governor.

They also mention that the FAMEX Committee has been intensively promoting the industry by visiting the states of Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Yucatan, Zacatecas, Queretaro, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon and Mexico. At the time being, 86% of the available space has already been assigned and the participation of a BOEING and AIRBUS is contemplated.

During the fair, business meetings will be held and seminaries will be given to show the state's investment opportunities, as well as providing the needs of existing companies.
