First Rosarito at the CECUT Festival opens to a huge crowd

On Friday, a standing room only crowd gathered with excitement for the inauguration of two exhibitions of paintings and photography in the CECUT.


The first annual Rosarito at the CECUT Festival featured more than 70 artistic projects and 380 participants, with paintings by Rocio Hoffmann, Ronaldo Glaubitz, Polo Valencia, Víctor Amaya, David Moreida and others, exhibited in the foyer of the main performance theatre.


A special performance featured the Guitarras Allegro guitar ensemble.

In the IMAX entryway, an equally impressive exhibition of photography and sculpture captured the imagination of visitors, with photography by Lourdes Betancourt, Gabriel Bniedem Betancourt, Irving Garcia, Rafael Jimenez, Damian Davila, Samuel Caplan, Beatriz Aragon, Lilia V. Quintana, Eddy Benitez Jimenez, Nereida Dusten and Aracely Brown Figueredo.


Also in the IMAX foyer, sculpture by Victor Chavez, Jorge Luna, Ernesto Noriega.


Drawings by Hugo Crosthwaite and a mural by Karla Andrea are on display in the Viscaíno room, where performance artist Theresa Magario will perform her work LAVE Sunday at 3:00 PM, and again on Friday, Feb 20 and Sunday, Feb 22.
