Knocking Out Mayweather is Pacquiao's Only Option According to Juan Manuel Márquez

The Mexican boxer reviewed the virtues and weaknesses of his Filipino mate

MEXICO.- If there is someone who can have a saying on the match of the decade between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, is Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Márquez who has already fought both boxers and knows their virtues and weaknesses.

Márquez was right to say that Pacquiao should seek a knock out, given that Mayweather's great virtue is that he has an undeniable boxing knowledge and he is the best when it comes to pulling out cards, a situation that Pacquiao has had trouble with in the past, making him loose a match with Joshua Clottey.

The Mexican boxer pointed out that Pacquiao's weakness is his defense upon counterattack, this is how Márquez beat him and apparently the Filipino boxer hasn't learned his lesson, he opens up his guard too much and that is where Mayweather could take advantage.

Let's not forget that the match between Pacquiao and Márquez had 4 chapter on were they tied the first match, the second and third was won by Pacquiao, and the fourth one by Márquez when he made the most terrifying knock out in Pacquiao's career. When he fought Mayweather in 2009, he unanimously lost the match.
