Afro-Caribbean Rhythms Arrive In Tijuana

A European group that brings a very interesting musical proposal

TIJUANA.- Swedish piano player Michael Fleiner and his International Septet will perform Thursday, March 26th at the Perfomance Hall of the Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT) at 8:00 p.m., in order to delight their audience with their Afro-Caribbean rhythms.

Fleiner's musical proposal is accompanied by different musicians. Among them, Juan Mungía (trumpet), Gerry López (saxofón), Bernhard Bamer (trombone), Peter Balázs (bass), "Mambi" Argüelles Puey (congas and percussions) and Jean-Baptiste Baldazza (drums).

The performance will offer original sounds thanks to the fusion of Latin Jazz and Afro-Caribbean music. The show arrives to Tijuana for the first time after traveling

[p]around the world in places such as: Sweden, Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Cuba.
