Investigators: Copilot Of Germanwings A320 May Have Crashed Plane Intentionally

Any terrorist links have been discarded

FRANCE.- French authorities revealed this morning more facts regarding the recent plane crash in The Alps, and concluded that the flight's copilot, Andrea Lubitz of German origin, deliberately crashed the plane after preventing the main pilot from returning the cabin.

According to a statement issued by a Marseilles investigator on TV, the flight captain left the cabin to use the restroom and when he tried to regain control of the plane, the copilot shut the door and prevented the pilot from reentering. He then pressed a button that began the airplane's slow and deadly decent, instantly killing 150 passengers once it hit the ground. None of the passengers knew what was going on until it was too late, as their screams are heard only for an instant after the plane hits the Alps.

"The copilot's attack has been confirmed" mentioned a source from Marseille's Attorney, who also stated: "When the pilot came out of the restroom…(the copilot) didn't opened the door again."

This announcement appears after analyzing the contents of the black box, which was retrieved two days ago. Inside it, was an audio file that shows "the screams of the commander requesting entrance into the cabin", without any answer from his copilot.

"You can hear the copilot's breathing until the moment of the crash" said the attorney. "This indicates that he was alive". Under this scenario, the investigators assumed the copilot's intentions was to crash the plane, although at the moment, any terrorist link has been discarded.

Andrea Lubitz, the now confirmed responsible for the accident, was a German copilot of 24 years of age that joined Germwaings airlines on September 2013. According to RT, he presented 630 hours of flight without problems. His motive for this tragic accident remains unknown.
