Here are 5 events so you won't have an excuse to stay home

TIJUANA/SANDIEGO.- This is March's last weekend…And we can't let it go without a proper goodbye to all the good things it brought us! So, if you still don't know what to do, where to go or how to spend those extra dollars, here are some events we hope you enjoy.

Friday, March 27th:

PXNDX at El Foro

The pop rock quartet is back in Tijuana, this time to present their latest production, Sangre Fría (2013), which is their 7th album in their almost 20 years of musical career. "Sangre Fría Tour" will offer their last tour dates in Baja California, having Tijuana and Mexicali as their final stops, before they start a new tour where they will celebrate 15 years of their debut album, Arroz con Leche.

They will be performing tonight in Tijuana with a concert for all ages. Tickets? $300 pesos general admission ($20dlls), $350 pesos floor area (no seating) ($23dlls) and $550 and $750 pesos on box areas ($36 and $49dlls). All tickets are subject to availability. Nana Calistar at International Night Club

Maybe your thing isn't so much rock but something you can dance to. What better place were aside from dancing you can also enjoy a comedy show inspired in Nana Calixta's esotericism. Yes, we are talking about the character that appeared on the famous Mexican telenovela, Maria la del Barrio. However, this character version is an "astrologist", councilor who can predict the future alongside a very acid and shameless humor. This show is somewhat along the humor of YouTuber "Galatzia", but with the power of divination thrown into the mix.

Nana Calistar is a parody that became famous through YouTube and Blogspot, to learn more about it, click here to visit its social media and go watch the show. Cost? $200 pesos ($13dlls). "Rock in the Park" in San Diego

Rock fans who live in San Diego as well as border natives, this event is for you. From 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Balboa Park, with admission costs starting at $24dlls.

Why you should go? For starters, this is an annual event currently on its second live concert edition. Every weekend, two different musicians attend the event to present their musical proposal. This Friday, Earl Thomas, will be performing as the main act, playing blues, gospel and soul rhythms.

There will be food, beer, wine and cocktails as well as all of Balboa's beauty. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. This event is only available for +21. For more information click here.

Saturday, March 28th

Kokopulqueando with Mescal at Tacos Kokopelli

This delicious offer from Tacos Kokopelli mixes this traditional liquor from the Nahuatl culture, for its tasting in order to celebrate their second anniversary in their Zona Río branch.

According to the description on their Facebook page, the event will start at 7:00 p.m. and aside from delicious mescal, Kokopelli will prepare drinks with pulque and tropical fruits such as guanabana, maracuya, banana, strawberry and cocoa, making all of our mouths water. Bikes & Beer at Quartyard

In case you forgot, here is a little reminder. This event features a bike ride through San Diego, where you can taste different beers from local breweries, once you finish a 4 hour bike tour.

Registry begins at 9:30 a.m., afterwards, the tour will begin at 10:00 a.m. You can arrive at any time between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to start your bike ride,which will end with a music festival, food and of course, beer. Cost? $45 dlls per person. For more information click here.
