An evening worthy of instrumental appreciation thanks to Michael Fleiner and his International Septet was featured at CECUT last night, where the fusion of Latin Jazz and Caribbean rhythms were the stars of the event.
Starting at 8:00 p.m. at CECUT's Perfomance Hall the band played a little over two hours with a 15 minute intermission in order for the musicians, as well as the public, could take a small break and then continue the performance.
The group members are musicians from all over the world: Latin rhythms are provided by two Cubans, playing percussions and trumpet, sax harmonies come from a Mexican tenor, who in fact motivated the band to visit the city, and the rest from the Old Continent.
During this event the International Septet performed improvised solos capturing the audience with their unique sound.
