TIJUANA.- With the purpose of acknowledging the effort of those who take care of the city's maintenance and cleanness, Mayor Dr. Jorge Astiazarán Orcí, celebrated this morning Garbage Man day alongside the 770 elements of the Direction of City Public Services (DSPM).

The city's government celebrated the cleanup crew's commitment, which they take upon every morning throughout Tijuana, in order to maintain residences, roads and green areas in optimal conditions, as Mayor Astiazarán pointed out, during the event that took place inside the Cleaning Department facilities.

"Congratulations on your day; thank you for all the efforts you make. I want to tell you that a lot of people have commented on how Tijuana looks clean, and all of this is thanks to you. I want to ask you to keep working hard on keeping our city clean," mentioned Astiazarán.

Cleaning employee, Miguel Ángel Lozano Álvarez mentioned that on previous administrations the Mayors hadn't showed up to their celebration, his presence motivated the crew to do even a more dignified job.
