#TIDALForAll Why Were Celebrities Using Turquoise On Social Media?

Spotify's biggest rival has Jay Z leading the ad campaign

UNITED STATES.- Today, some of the world's most important celebrities in the music business and throughout the US have launched an ad campaign in the hopes of competing themselves against Spotify. Artists such as Nicki Minaj, Usher and Coldplay, to name a few have changed their profile pictures on social media for turquoise colored image.

Jay Z has bought a Swedish company for online streaming for around 50,000,000 dollars, and here, he will begin to join his closest piers in order to compete with Spotify, who doesn't seem to have any direct competition until now.

This is why the colors of #TIDALForALL has become a trend, given that artists are preparing the platform for today, with some celebrities already devoted to its brand.

One of the reasons for this movement was that there have been several complaints regarding Spotify's royalties system, given that many artist complain they've been losing money through Spotify, making performers such as Taylor Swift revoke music rights from the platform.

TIDAL will have some innovations, including a higher membership cost than Spotify's but promising a better music quality, "mp3" will be taken down to make way for "FLAC", a new coding system, that already has 25,000 songs.

Jay Z keeps making moves worthy of a his prodigal entrepreneur image, his business already taking music form different angles, such as his production house that features entertainment and sporting venues.
