JAPAN.- According to Asian media, researchers from a Japanese company created the first onion that won't make you cry once you cut/peel it.
House Foods Group was responsible for developing this vegetable that has blocked that enzymes responsible for making our eyes water.
At the moment, the company hasn't announced when they will start market one of Japan most important culinary ingredients.
In 2013, House Food Group won the Ig Noble Prize from Harvard University for discovering the biochemical process in which onions make eyes water.
