Beer of the Week: "Señor Matanza" Russian Imperial Stout from Cerveza Fauna

A great beer that brings along a new phase for this brewery

After a short break, "Beer of the Week" is back, giving you the big scoop on what's new in the world of craft beer in Baja. This time, our friends from Cerveza Fauna from Mexicali, who little by little have gained a prime spot among beer lovers in Mexico and the United States, have brought along "Señor Matanza", a Russian Imperial Stout. With 12% alcohol Cerveza Fauna launches their "ancestral beer series" of high alcoholic content and months of aging. It's truly a beer for the brave.

This beer made its successful debut on "Ensenada Beer Fest 2015", receiving excellent reviews on behalf of the jury and the general public.

Fortunately, this isn't the only good news Cerveza Fauna has for us, on Friday, April 10th they will inaugurate their tasting room in Plaza Fiesta, which is turning into Tijuana's (and possibly Baja's) it place for crafted beer, which is why we recommend you to go and try out some of the region's very best.
