TIJUANA.- A drug tunnel was discovered today near Tijuana's airport, with speculation that it may lead to the US (very probably), according to information from Luis Gerardo Andrade of Frontera.

Staff from the Attorney's General Office have confirmed the discovery, along with the the arrest of 9 people who were found at the scene.

Uniradioinforma.com reported that the tunnel was found at the Centro Urbano 70-76 neighborhood and is currently under survaillance by elements of the Military and the police.

According to information from José Luis Camarillo, the passage is located near another tunel on Mar Bermejo street. Authorities haven't revealed any other details.
