Weather Turns Deadly In Southern U.S. And Mexico With Tornados And Flooding

Both countries have been harshly attacked

With rains 'trying' to overcome California's drought, there are some other parts of the country that haven't run the same fate and even face the opposite problem, having been battered in the las couple of days with storms and flooding. In states such as Texas and Arkansas, where emergency teams have reached out to help these communities hit by a recent streak of tornados, leaving at least two people dead, plenty of injured and thousand of houses destroyed.

Utilities have been working on restoring 'vital infrastructure', road and bridge workers have been opening up highways for rescue teams. The Red Cross has opened a shelter for people who were left homeless, at the First Baptist Church of Van.

South in Mexico, the state of Coahuila has seen the death of 13 people, over 250 left injured and nearly 750 houses have been destroyed after a 'Supertornado' hit the area.

According to the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), this phenomenon registered a translation velocity of 200 km per hour, even though unofficial sources mentioned that the tornado reached up to 400 km per hour. Undoubtedly, the results were catastrophic.

Images of the disaster flooded social media, as well as messages calling out for help.
