TIJUANA/SAN DIEGO.- Here at San Diego Red we want to say goodbye to the month of May with fun, and because of that with our starting our event list a day earlier with the sole purpose of offering you more time to get yourself (and you wallets) ready for the weekend.

Ha*Ash
The sister pop duo of Hanna and Ashley have already sold out all of their concert tickets. However, we couldn't leave them out given that is one of this weekend's featured event.s
We hope all Ha*Ash fans we able to purchase tickets for their performance in Tijuana. If not, you can always 'travel' to Mexicali, for their next presentation.

LGBT Film Festival
This annual event dedicated to genre filmmaking arrives to San Diego for 3 days, on its 17th edition. Here, 18 films will make their movie debut as well as several titles that were previously screened at the Sundance and Berlin festivals.
If you're not able to cross the border from Tijuana to San Diego, there is a upcoming project called 'Imperfectu' that will take place in Tijuana, we will talk about it further on.

Expo Cerveza Artesanal in Tijuana
Baja's craft beer capital brings on a new edition of the traditional Expo Cerveza Artesanal, in order to taste the different proposals of over 40 breweries and 25 restaurants.
With a two day duration and depending on which night you choose to attend you can either laugh your lungs out with YouTuber Galatzia or dance to the music of Amigos Invisibles.

Amélie and Piano, A Recital From Roberto Salomón
Amélie is without a doubt a major cult film, thanks to the music of Yann Tiersen, pianist of the original soundtrack.
If you're a fan of the film and are looking for something more mellow (or even romantic) to do this weekend, you might want to consider this recital. A live musicalization on behalf of Roberto Salomón that will take place at 'Los Arcos' inside Casa de la Cultura Playas.

Systematic Chaos: Dream Theater Tribute
On this occasion, Black Box will be featuring the California native band of 'Sytematic Chaos' who will be paying tribute to Dream Theater.
And while tribute may invade local scenery, Dream Theater's die hard fans will know that not just anyone can play the songs of the progressive rock quintet.

International Paella and Wine Festival
The region's best paella, wine and beer will be featured in this international event where Baja's cooking will make an appearance on this festival's first edition.
During this event, chefs from around the world will compete for the title of Baja's best paella. Furthermore, attendees will be please to know that general admission includes unlimited food and beverages, as well as a commemorative glass and live music.

Night Market 2419
Through Facebook, Night Market has extended their invitation to their event, where several exhibitors will delight its attendees with culinary, artistic and musical proposal inside an environment inspired in Oriental night markets.
