Munchin Donuts In Tijuana: Not Your Everyday Doughnut

A perfect option to kill all your munchies

Innovating the concept of a 'regular' doughnut, Munchin Donuts has become the first gourmet doughnut bar in Tijuana.

I'ts creators, Fernando Arredondo and Sergio Valenzuela are young entrepreneurs from the city, who decided to reinvent this delicious concept.

Starting out on social media, they actually make their own dough, and started by selling their products at school and through home deliveries, now, they have successfully managed to open their brick and mortar shop.

"We never wanted to make a pretty doughnut, although a lot of people have told us that they are. The idea was to create a really munchable, delicious and big doughnut, which is why we focused more on its flavor rather than its appearance," said Fernando Arredondo, co-creator of Munchin Donuts.

Here you will find everything for all tastes, given that Muchin Donuts combines flavors such as chocolate, caramel, Nutella, Snickers, bacon, pretzel, popcorn, nuts, coconut, Resee's, Almond Joy, Lucky Charms and so on. Also, you can make a personalized doughnut based on your favorite ingredients.

One of Munchin's favorites is the bacon doughnut, which sells at around 100 per day. If you ever get to try one, they are delicious.

But that's not all, coming soon they will have even more 'extravagant' flavors: ice cream filled doughnut, nacho-doughnuts, with carne asada and even a tequila flavor one!

At Munchin's you can also find Nutella, classic and even vegan brownies from 'The Brownie Girl', Fernanda Treviño. Selling her brownies during her free time, she now distributes her products in different coffee shops, and now at Munchin Donuts.

Located at Paseo Pedregal 115 Playas de Tijuana, you can visit any day of the week. They are open Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 a.m., Saturdays at 8.00 a.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. until supplies last. Visit them on Facebook at: Munchin Donuts.
