TIJUANA/ SAN DIEGO.- The first weekend of July is here, and so are its events, coinciding with a long list of events for all of those living in the United States.
Living in a border city we can't overlook the fact that on Saturday many events will take place in order to honor American Independence Day. Whether you want to be a part of them, or just know where they will be in order to avoid traffic and long lines while crossing the border, here is a list of fun options for Tijuana and San Diego:

Presenting their tour "Coda sigue aquí 2015", the rock quintet will be celebrating Tj Art & Rock Café's 8th anniversary, as well as presenting their new album 'Ciclos', being this their 16th production within 26 years of music career.

Independence Day At The Border
Given that the Latin community has as much right to celebrate 4th of July as Americans do when it's Cinco de Mayo this weekend brings along: Independence Day At The Border, which is a party hosted in San Yisidro with live music, a mechanical bull, fireworks and lots of drinks. Just remember that this event will take place on July 3rd and not on the 4th, so don't get confused if you're planning to attend.

Saturday, July 4th
Erotic Cosplay Party
For all cosplay and erotic art lover, this time both themes have fusioned in order to create a contest that will take place at Cúpula del Vampiro. This will be a costume runway inspired on anime and video game characters where a lot of skiing will be showed, said costumes will judged by renown artist such as Suicide Girl, Vikat. The 'sexiest' costume will win money, a photoshoot and free access to several events in Tijuana.

Kabah And OV7 in Tijuana
Two of Mexico's most renown band during the 90s will be performing together this weekend in Tijuana, with songs such as 'Te Quiero Tanto' and 'La Calle De Las Sirenas'. Former Onda Vaselina, now OV7 and Kabah will take on a reunion tour after 10 years of splitting up.

Big Bay Boom!
On July 4th, many will want to cross the border to San Diego in order to see the free shows that will that place on different areas of the country: Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero, Seaport Village and Coronado to name a few. So, save the date and get the family ready to enjoy an 'implacable choreography' in the sky.
