Tijuana Native To Participate In Miss Earth Mexico 2015

She will be representing Baja California

TIJUANA.- Thankfully, not all beauty pageants are related to Donald Trump and not all of them focus on the stereotype of a 'acceptable' body and a pretty face. There are some such as the Miss Earth Mexico pageant that seek to promote environmental protection as well as joining forces to improve our planet's life quality.

In fact, Miss Earth is the third most important pageant worldwide, which is why Tijuana fills itself with pride to be the one city in Baja who will send model Stephanie Rivera to participate on their national edition.

Rivera, a Tijuana native model will participate in Miss Earth Mexico 2015 representing the state, hoping to become one of the finalist who will compete internationally in Austria.

If she wins, Rivera will become an ambassador of environmental care, an achievement that has been possible thanks to the pageant which has running sin 2000 in the Philippines, having as purpose to support different social causes.
