He accepted his participation regarding the crime

MEXICO.- One of the people arrested by Mexico City's Attorney General Office, has just confessed to the crime that ended in the murder of four women and a correspondent for Proceso magazine, photojournalist Ruben Espinosa.

Although the identity of the man has yet to be revealed, it is known that he has been previously charged with theft, rape and other aggressions. Thanks to his statement, the authorities are one step closer to capturing at least one more person involved in the crime, given that according to this man, the rest of the people involved are most likely still living in the city.

His arrest was possible thanks to the detection of a finger print that police corps found and compared to their data base. This is how that also found that he had a criminal record and that hi lived in the Venustiano Carranza area, near Tepito.

The multiple homicide that took the life not just of Rubén Espinosa, but also of Alejandra, Nicole, Yesenia Quiroz and Nadia Vera, took place last friday night inside the apartment three of the women were renting for a period of six months.

The crime scene located at Calle Luz Saviñon, Colonia Narvarte in the Benito Juarez area, was supposedly a meeting point for parties, according to neighbors, which is why nobody suspected that

the loud music was actually to silence the screams of the massacre.

The bodies were found with signs of torture and rape. The property was also ransacked and for many outraged people, the one to hold responsible for all of this is Javier Duarte, Veracruz' Governor, given that he had allegedly threaten Espinosa on previous occasions.
