TIJUANA/SAN DIEGO.- The first weekend of the month is here and with come many events for each side of the border: traditional art festivals, food, and concerts are just around the corner. And thanks to Labor Day, this will be a long weekend (at least for those un the US), so beware of the border lines! They are sure to be packed.

FESTIARTE

Playas de Tijuana annual event, Festiarte will rise for three days at Parque Mexico in order to exhibit art, in all its forms expression. From paintings, engravings, jewelry, live music and even some food stands and craft products sales. There will be 5 different stages, so make sure you find one that is of your liking.

BODY ART EXPO SAN DIEGO

Over 300 artists dedicate to piercing and tattooing will gather in San Diego for three days starting on Friday yo showcase their work and schedule appointments. There will be craft and commercial beer on sale, clothes stands and over 20 contests with attractive cash prices and more. Furthermore, the festival will have live music which is always something great.

RIO ROMA IN TIJUANA

Rio Roma's romanticism is back in town in order to seduce its audience with their music and love lyrics. You can still get tickets at affordable prices, but there are only a few left, so hurry! Tickets are on sale at Hotel Real Inn, Auditorio Municipal and El Foro.

GONDWANA AND GOLDEN GANGA IN ROSARITO

"Reggae Camping" is back in Rosarito this weekend in order to offer over 12 hours of live music, one dollar beer, camping areas and a large variety of food truck to give in into your munchies. Tickets are still on pre-sale pricing at Mamma Mia pizza and Farmacias Roma. Go get yours!

VEGAN FESTIVAL: LOVE, ECO & FRIENDS

WEEZER IN SAN DIEGO

They performed last year and the crowd wanted more, so this Sunday, Weezer will be performing at Del Mar Racing for FREE!...as long as you pay your entry to the horse race (it's only $6dlls for Strech Run and $10 for Clubhouse). And if racing isn't your thing you can always pay $20 dlls to get in. This event is only +18.
