Baseball Legend, Yogi Berra Passes Away At Age 90

The former Yankee coined the phrase "It's ain't over till it's over."

The Yogi Berra Museum has just confirmed the death of one of baseball's best catchers in history. Lawrence Peter Berra (nicknamed Yogi due to his similarities to a yoga trainee and later on for inspiring the image of Hanna-Barbera's bear) won 10 World Series during his career, making this the biggest win MLB history.

Son of Italian immigrants, Berra dropped out of middle school to help support his family, gaining a spot in America's greatest game. The athlete admitted to being a horrible player his first couple of years and that he painted his short fingers to make them visible.

Eventually, he joined the New York Yankees dynasty, playing 17 seasons for the team, breaking several records that are still standing

However, a great par to of Berra's legacy was created out of the field. His famous "Yogisms" are used on a daily basis, reflecting his great wisdom and applicable colloquialism for everyday life aspects. Yogi kept his loyal to his saying "It ain't over till it's ever over" until his last days.

His wife, Carmen shared some of his other invaluable contributions when she asked where he wanted to be buried, Yogi simply answered: "I don't know. Why don't you surprise me?"
