Nickelodeon Channel For 90s Hits Ready By October

Get ready to relive your childhood with The Splat

A few days ago, we found out that Nickelodeon will once again show their 90s programming on a new channel called The Splat, making many of us loose our minds with the thought of rewatching cartoons such as Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, etc.

The Splat will premiere on Teen Nick on October 5th at 10:00 pm

Unfortunately, everything isn't as beautiful as it sounds, given that programming will rotate every day from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, instead of being a 24/7 channel dedicated to 90s content. At least it will be for the U.S.

One thing that is for sure is once The Splat reaches TV on October, programming will be themed. For example, their first week will called "First Time For Everything", featuring the first two episodes of the 90s most popular animated and live series. On October 12th, you'll be able to watch "Rugrats Reptar Takeover", highlighting the best Rugrats episodes featuring Reptar. On October 19th will present Hey Arnold! Live From The Stoop, featuring all episodes revolving around 'Stoop Kid'. Lastly, they'll have "Nick or Treat" where viewers will able to choose 1 of 6 doors, each one containing a different episode.

And that's not all! Nickelodeon is thinking outside the (TV) box, making an appearance on social media with different GIF's and emojis. Check out this preview.

This information is only regarding U.S. programming, given that there are still no details if this will also be the case for outside the U.S., like Mexico, if they will have the same thematic or if it will just be a space you can visit whenever and find 90s programming.

In any case, The Splat will happen in just a few day and we will be able to watch series that we grew up to and left the best of childhood memories. So now you know, in less than two weeks, tune in on Nickelodeon at 10 pm and flashback to your childhood.
