MEXICALI.- If you're a fan of SpongeBob Squarepants then surely you've always dreamed of trying a delicious "Krabby Patty" as well as wanting to know Mr. Krab's famous secret formula that makes its burgers so damn tasty.

Maybe you can't enjoy one of the cartoon's delicious burger yet, but if you ever find yourself in Baja California, then you might have the possibility of experiencing being inside the Krusty Krab in Mexicali. According to Baja California's capital tourism website, Viva Mexicali, the restaurant is called "Krustáceo Burger."

The "Krustáceo Burger" is located on Aviación street, at the corner of Río Culiacán, two blocks away from the CBTIS 21 School in Mexicali. It was inaugurated on Saturday, October 17th and it's open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Here are the only two pictures we could find of the place, through the Viva Mexicali site.

There is another set of images of a Krusty Krab that has been going around on social media, where we see a bigger and almost identical one to the cartoon's restaurant. Some have confused these images with the one that opened in Mexicali, but that isn't true. Here are the images.

These pictures are of another restaurant named "Salta Burgers" that is located in Palestine, this according to an article by The Hollywood Reporter, and has been in service since July of last year.

Mexicali's paper, La Crónica also made a photo gallery about this Palestine restaurant last year.

So if you're in Mexicali or are planning on visiting, you could try the Krabby Patty's that Krustáceo Burger has to offer. Just don't try to steal their secret formula.
