An anti-terrorist operation shook the city in the early morning.

FRANCE.- A war took place in Saint-Denis, a northern Parisian suburb, among French security forces and the supposed masterminds of the terrorist attacks that took place this past Friday night in the French capital.

So far there have been two killed by French authorities as well as five police officers injured.

A 7-year-old French police dog named Diesel has also been killed during the raid, according to French police twitter account.

The hashtag #JeSuisChien has been trending on Twitter after the raid, in honor of Diesel.

Seven people were arrested in the Saint-Denis raid, two of the suspects required surgery for arm injuries and are being treated at a hospital in Bobigny, France.

In the early morning of Wednesday, November 18, police and soldiers surrounded a residential building in Saint-Denis where they found suspects responsible for the Paris attacks that resulted in 129 dead and hundreds injured.

There was also a female suicide bomber who blew herself up during Wednesday's raid and has been identified as a cousin of Abaaoud, while another suspect was killed by a French police sniper.

French forces formed a perimeter of the apartment under siege, which is located just one mile from the Stade de France, where three explosions resulted in one victim dead during the Friday attacks.

Investigators will use DNA analysis to determine whether Abdelhamid Abaaoud, who is the main suspect for the planning of the Paris attacks, was killed in the raid. He initially was thought to have fled to Belgium or some other part in Europe, but it appears he stayed in the French capital.

An NBC source from inside the U.S. government, revealed that Abbaoud is part of an Islamic State terrorist cell that U.S. intelligence agencies have been monitoring for months.
