A Tijuana Xolos Fan's Christmas Wish List

A Xolo fan wish list for next year’s season.

Dear Santa, I write this letter to you in the name of all Xolos fans who wish for a few good things to happen to our favorite soccer team, our passion and our love for the game this year.

We were nice this 2015, we bought our Xolo Pass ahead of time and supported our team by going to every game. We even supported them in the Copa MX tournament, even though we didn’t reach that far due to certain coach decisions.

Also, we haven’t stopped sporting our red and black colors and chanting the names of our team players every 15 minutes at the Caliente stadium. We had the second best assistance average just under the Copa MX tournament champs, the UANL’s Tigres.

Which is why we wish for quality team members to be added to the roster for Christmas. We beg you Miguel "Piojo" Herrera gets the team on the right track and get us back on the playoffs after three seasons of not participating in them.

We wish for you to bring wisdom to the team’s management, stop them from thinking just on the money and make them notice what the team means to us. A team that lives tattooed in most of our hearts, some even have it literally tattooed on their skin.

We want for the current team members to keep at it and if one of the players happens to be outstanding, we wish for the América team to not come and steal him from us.

We wish for the Caliente stadium to be finished already and for the ticket and parking fees to be lowered, at least for this season, where there aren’t that many great games as in the past.

Thanks Santa, we know you’ll deliver on some of our wishes and appreciate it.

But above all, we want to thank you, because even with all the ups and downs, the Xoloitzcuintle family gets bigger and bigger every time.
