To establish a solid basis for this effort, the CCDER has reduced its working committees from 16 to 3 with focus on Economic Development, Education and Public Safety; it has created a project area and it has also developed a methodology for project incubation.
Moreover, it has also given more attention to expenditure management; it has agreed on a strategic partnership with the School of Architecture of the Technological Institute of Tijuana (ITT, for its acronym in Spanish); and it has developed a computer system for project management.
This restructuring is accompanied by a fresh, new corporate image. The change, which seeks to reflect the dynamic attitude of the agency, reveals a new phase marked by evolution. The main changes include modifications to the logos image and a completely renovated website.
