San Felipe Will Host the "Blues and Arts" Festival

More than 2 thousand people are expected to attend the event

With the goal of promoting the Baja culinary and art attractions, the state's Tourism Ministry invites the general public to come and enjoy the 10th edition of the "Blues and Arts" festival, happening at the Pabellón de la Ventana del Mar in San Felipe.

The festival will start this Friday, March 18, where more than 2 thousand people are expected. Local, national and international great musicians will participate, like Music Line Up, Michael Jackson's guitarist, Michel Landin, Wregg Wright, Javier Batiz, Gino Mateo and Rock Cats, just to name a few.

The Pabellón de la Ventana del Mar is a known venue in San Felipe, one which offers an impressive ocean and mountain view. Since 2007, the "Blues and Arts Festival" has set the music festival standard in the state and is the first sample of true American music. Each year, the festival ups the ante as an example of the best blues artists from the U.S. and Mexico West side.

Also, there will be an art exhibition, as well as local cuisine, with which they intend to strengthen Baja's qualities, one of the most important tourist destinations in the country.

San Felipe Secretary of Tourism's deputy chief, Herlinda Horalia García Pérez, invited the tourists of the region and SoCal to come to the event, since in addition to enjoying a first-class spectacle, they'll be able to enjoy it with the family.

The resources gained from this festival, which is organized by Gary Dilley, will be donated to San Felipe civil organizations.

So far, the 10 festival editions have contributed to an orphanage and medical support to the local community.
