Recent San Diego Heatwave Will Go Away by the Weekend but Expect Light Rain

Record breaking temperatures hit Sunday and Monday

SAN DIEGO – Not only are we in the midst of allergy season in the San Diego region, there’s also a sudden heatwave that’s been suffocating is since yesterday and it’ll go on until tomorrow.

According to Weather.com, the high for today and tomorrow in San Diego will be in the lower 80° F. San Diego had a record-breaking high yesterday with 86° F.

Starting this Tuesday, we’ll start having those fresh, cold nights again, with a low of 61° F.

So make the most out of this Summer-like heat, take out those swim trunks and bikinis and hit the beach.

There’s also a 60% chance of light showers for Friday night and Saturday morning, so don’t go on full Summer mode just yet.
