Even though there aren't many options south of the border, SanDiegoRed managed to find some tasty spots around town that we're sure you'll love. So if you're looking for something different that aren't your typical food truck, you've come to the right place.

Just by entering this place you'll instantly feel like you're not in Tijuana. The owners always welcome you with some house tea and a menu that ranges from Turkish pizza to more traditional dishes. They're native Turkish, a fact that helps the restaurant keep it real with their food's original flavors, without making any fancy fusions with other cuisines like other places usually do in Tijuana. They even have Turkish breakfast buffets sometimes.

You can choose from a normal table or eat closer to the floor with lots of pillows and rugs with oriental patterns. It's known to the locals as the perfect place to go munch and smoke from a hookah. Typically, the people who go there for the hookahs prefer to sit down on the first floor, enjoying the comfort of its pillows. They have burgers and French fries on their menu, as well as hummus, labneh, dulma, kebab and if you can't decide for anything, they have an Arab food sampler.

The place is kinda hard to find, located around the Morelos neighborhood. A small restaurant that makes it easier for the owners to make recommendations if it's your first time, the other good thing about it's hard-to-find location, it's not bustling with people… let's hope this article doesn't change that
