We wrote this article to look for an explanation of what exactly happens when ordinary citizens are appointed to some position of power. What exactly changes? Why do they say one thing and do another? Why do they systematically lie just to have five minutes of fame and power? Even knowing this, why do the citizens of a community, state or country support them? Why does it seems as if sometimes they're looking for the most corrupt candidate as if they were only looking to make easy money?
A businessman from Tijuana once said, "There is no evil that lasts for three or six years," referring to those who reach a political position. Unfortunately this phrase is constantly repeated, as citizens who come to fill these positions, especially the Governor or Mayor ones, enter a sort of race to try to transcend as the most corrupt and unpunished leaders who have previously gone through these positions.
Political campaigns begin at the same time as the publication of this edition, and with them come citizens from different social backgrounds, different ideologies, and for the first time with independent candidates who seek to win at all costs. They start black campaigns, they will try to publish everything that seems as an adversary's dark secrets, everything that "they represent"; they will spend millions of dollars for the purchase of wills and after disappointing any thinking voter, those supporters that remain faithful to each political party will be the ones who decide the future of the next three years, and when election have come to an end, they will all go out to eat and celebrate, as if it were a Disney film. That which is said during a campaign never comes to fruition.
As an example, we can consider the campaign slogan of Governor Francisco Vega, "People Rule". A simple slogan that citizens on social networks use to make memes, due to its unfortunate and obvious inconsistency.
We look for definitions, phrases of politicians and thinkers who could clarify us why citizens who come to power are transformed and corrupted. To start of, here is a definition: "Corruption is the action and effect of corrupting, depraving, spoiling, bribing, perverting and damaging. It is the practice of making an abuse use of power, function or means of obtaining an economic advantage or otherwise. Political corruption is the misuse of public power for an illegitimate advantage. Corruption is linked to other crimes, as he or she who is corrupt will often incur in corruption to allow or ask for something illegal to happen. Influence peddling, bribery, extortion and fraud are some of the most common displays of corruption".

Most of them do not pay taxes, but that is comparatively
speaking, that is of small transcendence. They take loans
from banks and do not pay them back. In exchange for
government contracts they receive commissions from
those friends or companies that awarded them.
-Why is it commonly said that in Mexico, our federal, state
and local leaders are elected by the masses, when that is
clearly not the case?
Why do officials keep spending the money of their master?
We, the common people, sweat blood as if we were beasts

-fatten their pockets by doing absolutely nothing.

-What exactly do parties fear so much?
-Why do electoral courts favor the interests of the parties
and not those of citizens?

do we have to maintain it in the meantime?

the scope of their responsibilities?

seeks the best talent to transcend?

from budget at all costs?

she not know that by chasing a medium or communicator
they increase their prestige, unless this is also corrupt?
