"We're spearheading the festival scene in Mexico" says Francisco Talamante, owner and founder of Ensenada's Canneria Beer, and one of the Expo's organizers. It is not only considered to be the best show in Baja California when it comes to beer quality and organization, but also as an important boost for local brewers and other festivals.

Talamante highlights the importance of this Expo's geographical diversity, both for the attendees and the exhibitors, saying that they generate money for the industry in Mexico, bringing in tourists from all over the state, Mexico and North Americans.

Every brand was invited by a sub-committee that mostly favors breweries that don't entirely depend on a commercial brand or that produce beer only for festivals. Special attention was given to the sanitation services area, with 10,763 square feet destined to it.

Emphasis was made on the fact that, aside from organizing events like this one, the team also works hard to change the regulations on alcoholic beverages sale and production in every municipality of Baja California.
