Startup Weekend 2016 Wants to Transform Tijuana

This event wants to attract entrepreneurs with ideas that can change the city.

Tijuana's Startup Weekend 2016 extends an open invitation to all those who want to transform the city by proposing fresh new ideas or innovative projects; over 54 hours of activities hosted by entrepreneurs, developers, and designers will offer them the chance to turn their big idea into a real business.

These will take place from June 10 to 12 at the, where lecturers, mentors and other personalities related to the entrepreneurial field will also reunite.

Those who participate will have to present the event's guest judges a new project after the following activities:

The startup experience is not only about developing a new idea, but also to network and learn new abilities that could help people in future projects.

The invitation is open to everyone interested, but there is a 70 person limit, and a 400 pesos ($21.60 USD) fee to access the premises. The price includes food and necessary materials.
