TIJUANA. Tijuana will elect its new mayor on Sunday, but here's a list of fun things that voters and non-voters alike can do away from the ballots.

1.- CECUT's MGMT Laser Show

Place: The Tijuana Cultural Center IMAX Dome Theater Dates: Every Friday and Saturday in June. Time: Fridays 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Price: Prices start at $52.00 pesos ($2.80 USD). 2.- Family Matinee Film Cycle

Each Saturday morning in Tijuana's Cultural Center will see a screening of Ámbar, a film by Luis Estrada, while on Sundays the screening will be of Wallace and Gromit, directed by Nick Park, Peter Lord and Richard Goleszowski.

3.- Cáñamo introduces their new record

Tijuana reggae group Cáñamo is introducing their new album "Tijuanero" this Sunday night, featuring special guests like "Los Californiax Brothers", "La Botánika" and "Hipogrifos de Ensenada".

Place: TJ Art & Rock @You Revolution, 3rd floor, across the street from El Copeo. Dates: Sunday, June 5. Time: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Price: $80 pesos ($4.30 USD).

4.- CETYS Color Run

As a way to push good health and sports in Tijuana, CETYS University will host the Color Run race this Sunday, expecting an assistance of at least 1,200 runners. Funds raised at the event will go towards the school's 16 sports teams and individual athletes.

Place: CETYS, Tijuana campus. Dates: Sunday, June 5. Time: Warm up begins at 8:30 a.m., the race proper at 9:00 a.m. Price: $150 pesos ($8.06 USD) adults. $100 pesos ($5.37 USD) children.

5.- Adrián Uribe Tour 2016

If you're a more comedy-minded person, this is a good choice for you. Actor and comedian Adrián Uribe will host his own show, performing as his various characters, for a night that will have you in tears.

Place: El Foro, Tijuana. Dates: Saturday, June 4. Time: 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Price: $165 pesos ($8.87 USD) to $1,100 pesos ($59.14 USD)

6.- San Diego County Fair

If you're looking for something to do outside of Tijuana, and you happen to be a big Alice in Wonderland fan, this event is tailor-made for you. Not only will you enjoy San Diego's County Fair this weekend, this celebration will last all through June. Fun!

Place: Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar. Dates: June 3 – July 4. Time: Mondays through Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Fridays, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. through Price: $165 pesos ($8.87 USD) to $1,100 pesos ($59.14 USD)
