London Photographer Facing Multiple Life Sentences For Abusing Over 200 Children

He pretended to be a teacher and photographer doing charity work in Malaysia to commit his crimes.

LONDON. A 'freelance photographer' and 'teacher' from Ashford, England, who travelled to Malaysia's capital for supposed charitable activities, admitted 71 different child sexual abuse offenses for acts committed against 23 children from an impoverished community in a "campaign of rape" that went on for 9 years; his sentence is of 25 years in prison.

The man in question, Richard Huckle, confessed to have abused children ranging from six months to 12 years of age between 2006 and 2014.

The 30 year old criminal even wrote a 'manual' promoting sexual tourism aimed specifically to pedophiles, where he boasted about molesting 191 children. Over 20 thousand photographs and videos of his victims were uploaded to a child pornography network.

Judge Peter Rook revealed that Huckle financed his trips to Malaysia with the money he earned selling child pornography, which was tracked down back to him in order to arrest him back in December 2014 as he returned to London for the holidays. The operation that finally caught Huckle were coordinated by Australian authorities, who identified an online child pornography network launched by a convicted pedophile.

A plot to plead insanity and avoid jail time by marrying an Indian woman fell through when a social media posting revealed a previous intention to marry one of his victims and extend his reach to other victims. Huckle refuses to reveal his encrypted passwords to stop investigators from reaching his computer's hidden files, which could help linking him to the 200 cases of child sex abuse he claims to have perpetrated in his 'manual'.
