It might seem like there's not much to do this weekend, but we found a lot of events that you can enjoy either by yourself or with friends and family; they can even be an improvised destination to take dad because of Father's Day.

Friday, June 17
Big Javy from Inspector plays the Mamut Brewery
For fans of Mexican ska band "Inspector", their vocalist Big Javy will play a show in Tijuana's Downtown with his new project, Big Javy y Los Tenampa. Openers include Los Helldandys, Nosis and Lost Tijuana Twist.

San Diego International Beer Festival
One of the fests happening this weekend at the San Diego County Fair is all about beer, and you will be able to taste some of the best beers crafted by 200 international brewers from over 15 countries around the world.

Saturday, June 18
Tijuana Fantastic Fest
Granted, maybe dad won't enjoy this one too much, but you might, and it's a fair option to have some fun before spending the next day with him. Fantastic Fest is being held for the first time in Tijuana, by and for fans of the medium, and will offer a drawing workshop, collectible sales, a Studio Ghibli cycle, video games and much more.

Summer Beer Fest
Showcasing 20 excellent breweries, offering great food and live music, the second Summer Beer Fest promises a delicious treat for craft beer lovers and a great time for everyone.

Rally with dad
Through a series of physical and mental tests, parent-children teams will have to go through each station located in the "Trompo" Interactive Museum, gathering different words necessary to complete a secret message and win the competition. This is a fun event for the whole family.

Brunch with Dad
