Organizers in Tijuana are Planning a Protest in Solidarity with Oaxaca

TIJUANA. The recent wave of violence in Oaxaca has caused people all over Mexico and the world to stand in protest and solidarity with people of the state, including places like Paris, Barcelona, Switzerland, and even the pedestrian border crossing between Tijuana and San Ysidro.

According to an image that has been shared in social media, a gathering is planned at 1:00 p.m. this Sunday, June 26 near the "Cuauhtémoc roundabout" in Zona Río.

A few days ago, protesters congregated around Tijuana's famous "scissors" monument, where students and families demanded those responsible to be brought to justice.
