Love Wine? This Baja Event Will Give You 10 Tastings per Entrance

Ensenada students want to boost the appealing of the Guadalupe Valley

There are around 100 students from the Interamerican University of Development (UNID) in Ensenada being guided and assesed by entrepreneurs, restaurants and well-known wine makers in the Valle de Guadalupe in order to implement projects that would enhance the State's tourism industry.

Gastronomy, Marketing, Tourism and Design are some of the degrees that these students are pursuing; their evaluation will end on July 22th during the exhibition called "Unidos por la Baja" (United for Baja), which will take place at Foro Santo Tomas with the participation of more than 20 wine houses and restaurants.

"We've realized that many people living in the city of Ensenada are unaware about what's going on with the Baja Wine Route, so we are promoting it in collaboration with Foro Santo Tomas", stressed Maria del Pilar Campos, the General Director of the Iberoamerican University for the Development of UNID.

This year is the third edition of "Unidos por la Baja" and is one of the few events with wine and food before the highly anticipated harvest that will include the visit of thousands of people to the Wine Route, which is a whole lot more compared to the hundreds of this one.

Having said that, the entrance is only $11.00 dlls, which will make you get 10 samples of wine or food for your enjoyment, plus a commemorative cup (pretty things, don't miss it).
